Submit an original article to Calgary Select!

We are currently looking for original articles and the topic is "how you spent your Friday evening". It could be a movie review, dining out, perhaps tripping the light fantastic at your favourite dance club. Other potential categories include social events, sporting events, hobbies etc.

What you get in return is full credit for your story along with a link to your website if applicable and most of all exposure on the web.  Authors are encouraged to include a brief biography.

Just a few little conditions apply:

Advertising disguised as an article will probably not be accepted.

You must be the author or sole owner of the article and you must guarantee that you are not infringing on any trademarks or copyrights.  Included photos must be original and where people are identifiable there are special rules that apply (based on legal precedent).  You also need to agree that Calgary Select can publish and or edit the article on the Calgary Select website, and further you must agree that Calgary Select cannot due to the nature of the Internet exercise any control on subsequent infringements by others. (ie if someone copies it from our website, we are powerless to stop that, regardless of the illegality of it.).

If you agree to the above, please submit your article to contact AT (replace the AT with @).

Presently we are not paying hard cash for articles, just the fame & recognition but we are thinking about a prize pool to be determined in the near future.

Last but not least we do not guarantee that we will publish your article but we do guarantee that once it hits our email box we will read it and give it our full attention.
