Most of the minor Soccer played in Calgary is done under the umbrella of the Calgary Minor Soccer Association. The CMSA is made up of various Soccer clubs as well as a great number of community run programs. It is possible to also have a private team playing within minor Soccer.
One of the more unique things about minor Soccer in Calgary is the indoor season played during the winter months. It is designed to keep the players in good shape for outdoor Soccer in the spring.
There are two main facilities to accomodate the indoor Soccer program. The first and largest is the Calgary Soccer centre. It features four large fields in the main building and three more in the "bubble" ( plus two mini practice fields). The bubble is a soft structure held up by air pressure. The Calgary Soccer Centre is located at 7000-48 Street S.E.
