The above picture was taken on September 2, 2007 at 9:13 AM. The photo was shot from the bluff near the Dover community, it overlooks the Deerfoot and allows for some really great shots of the Calgary skyline. Today (September 14, 2007) we hear of Google bankrolling a $30 million prize for the first private company to land a robotic rover on the moon.
Summer 2007
Above is a picture of a Tornado GR4 fighter as it cruises above Calgary (photo taken above Mckenzie Lake). According to a story by Katie Schneider of the Calgary Sun, there is a group of 6 Tornado's from the Royal Air Force conducting training missions in our area. The fighter jets will be here for 3 weeks, so we will try to get some more of these spectacular photos.
