The "our fair share" idea leaves me with a certain amount of uneasiness.  You could easily surmise that somehow we have been getting screwed by some evil business types, in this case BIG OIL.  Is that really the case here? I don't mean to give you a course in capitolism here but really the job of any business is to make profits. How do we make profits? It is extremely simple. You buy low and sell higher. Big Oil, medium Oil and even small Oil have been doing exactly what they are supposed to do. Negotiate their best possible deal on the supply side.

If we haven't been getting "our fair share" then to me - and I readily admit I am no expert in the O & G industry- the real blame must fall on the original supplier. Gee wonder who that was? Hint, think previous governments.

Clearly to me, this whole thing is a diversionary tactic with a nasty twist. Think election, think put the blame on someone else.< ...

Boy am I glad that the kids were gifted a copy of Harry Potter the deathly hallows. What a bore that was. I would of been mad if I had plunked down my own money.  Now I admit I am not a professional book reviewer or a super Harry Potter fan but hey I did enoy the other books.

This one however is different, yes I know it ties up lots of unanswered questions but it does so in an almost monotonous fashion. The same stuff over and over. I got to thinking the 400 or so pages describing the never ending camping trip really will get cut down to about 3 seconds when they make the inevitable movie.

In order to avoid spoiling anything or anyone, I will refrain from making suggestion on how this book could have been made more exciting, I know for sure it could have been a lot shorter and might then have been a pleasant read. Farewell HP !

Have you ever wandered into a casino and looked at the craps table. It looks fun, it looks exciting but it also looks really intimidating. On a recent road trip we stayed in the Sands hotel in Reno Nevada. As usual I am an early riser and so headed down to the casino floor around 6 am. As the title suggest I am not really  a gambler but I was really intrigued by the craps table.

Luckily at 6:00 AM there was no one on the table and I approached the craps dealer and asked how difficult it was to learn.  He offered to guide me and so I was willing to plunk down a $20 for this unique experience.  After about 15 minutes I was up  a whole $4.50 and figured that was enough and I could walk away a winner. Which I promptly did.

Afterwards I realized this was  a really fun game and I simply had to know more about it but I don't like learning the hard way and being an Internet junkie I soon found an answer to my quest to learn ...
