Adjudicator rules in favour of City of Edmonton
An Adjudicator with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner has ruled the City of Edmonton conducted an adequate search for records that had been requested regarding a condominium development.
Danyluk leads delegation to New York and Toronto to investigate innovative solutions to homelessness
Municipal Affairs and Housing Minister Ray Danyluk will lead a small (four-member) provincial delegation to New York City and Toronto to investigate innovative programs to address homelessness and housing.
Province ready to roll out $400 million in new municipal funds
Alberta’s municipalities are days away from receiving program guidelines and application forms for the 2007-08 capital project funding component of the Municipal Sustainability Initiative (MSI). Once individual agreements are returned to Municipal Affairs and Housing, funding will be advanced to municipalities.

Province provides $1 million to complete supportive living units in Medicine Hat
The Government of Alberta is providing $1 million to help complete the construction of 40 affordable, supportive living units in Medicine Hat. The new funding was announced by Rob Renner, MLA for Medicine Hat, and Greg Melchin, Minister of Seniors and Community Supports.
