We spoke to Anthony & Christene of Raven's Fyre. Anthony told us the secret to a great BBQ is in "being gentle". Translate that to slow cooking and lots of patience.

Some of Anthony's secrets? He says Kahlua and dark rum, occasionally using whisky for the mop.
Christene is President of the Pacific Northwest BBQ Association, which is the sanctioning body under which the BBQ on the Bow runs.What that means is the winner in Calgary may qualify in the US Championships.
