 Comedy Improv - Calgary Minimize

Improv Guild door sign at the old recycling building on Macleod TrailTheir motto is "Tell No one!" This may be one of Calgary's best kept entertainment secrets. The improv guild (www.improvguild.com)  is currently (I checked this out March 2009) putting on its underground improv show at the old recycling depot on Macleod Trail.  2405 Macleod Tr to be precise but don't tell anyone that I told you about this wonderful way to spend a little chunk of your friday night. Shows start at 8 pm and last approximately 1 hour. There is no admission fee but a hat is passed around at the end of the show.

The performance I caught in March 2009 was wickedly funny and everything that I expect from Improv. I heartily recommend you check this out. Below are some candid photos from that show.

Recently the guild put on the 2009 Calgary Improv Brier at the Engineered Air Theatre in the Epcor Centre. Lets hope this an annual event.
